FERRO E FARINHA

Sei Shiroma is the culinary mind behind Ferro e Farinha. Originally founded in Catete (now closed), the pizzeria is ranked among the 100 best in the world and has been voted Best Pizza by Veja Rio magazine four times.

Arcos da Lapa

The Arcos da Lapa are a masterpiece of Portuguese colonial architecture, known for their striking 42-meter-tall arches.

Today, the arches serve as a support for the trams that take passengers to the Santa Teresa neighborhood.


To board the tram, go to the Bonde Station at Rua Lélio Gama, 2, Downtown. The round-trip ticket costs R$ 20.00 (make sure to keep it for the return).
